Shannon & Avery Visit

A few of us got together to visit with Shannon while she was in town and also to meet lil miss Avery. It was so great having all of us together and especially with the munchkins. I am a bit "blog post" challenged and so only had patience for a few pics here. You can find the rest of them on my Facebook.

Oh how we wish Shannon, Rob and Avery lived closer (hopefully some day soon...)!

Easter fun for everyone!

Deakon had a great Easter weekend. On Saturday he participated in the Liberty Lake Egg Hunt and found a gold egg which he then turned in for a big prize (an easter basket filled with toys). Then on Sunday we had brunch and another egg hunt at a friend's house. Deak was all about collecting the eggs but wasn't interested in the candy inside of them. He just wanted to play on the swingset. He's so silly!

Deakon turns 3!

My baby... okay now big boy just turned three years old. The faster he grows the more I realize how important it is to take time every day to just sit back and watch him whether it's playing, talking, laughing or even crying. It is so true what people say, they grow up way too fast!

Snow-a-palooza

As you can see from the photos, we are in snow heaven right now. Within a 36 hour period, we accumulated about 30 inches of snow. Deakon loves it, but we don't like shoveling it. Jeff sure wishes we had a snow blower right about now. He actually got stuck trying to get out of our driveway, in our truck! So, we're home bound for a few days. Getting lots of much needed house work done. Looks like it will be a white Christmas after all.

One more site to add to the list!

As if I didn't already have enough trouble trying to find time to update my Facebook, MySpace, Email accounts, and others, I decided to join the blogging world to that list. Two things to warn you of however (the first is pretty obvious after reading my first sentence): 1) I will likely only log in to this site maybe once a week; 2) I am not a "writer" and have never been, so I can't promise anything too exciting or engaging for you to read. I really enjoy reading others blogs though, so hopefully that will inspire me to inspire you!
